Indexes to traditional carillons
in Asia and the Pacific Rim

There is a page of site-specific information for each of the traditional-keyboard carillons in Asia and the Pacific Rim region.  To make it easy for you to find the page or site you seek, or to discover information about relationships among them, they are indexed in several different ways, as follows:

• by country and city

• by city and site-name

  If you are looking for a specific site by its institutional name (e.g., a church or school) or by the instrument's proper name, select either of the above indexes and then use the "find in page" feature of your Web browser to locate a distinctive word (or partial word) in that name.

• by geographical location (as a regional locator map, via Google Maps customization)

• by number of bells

• by pitch (or approximate weight) of largest bell

• by year of completion

• by keyboard range, grouped according to musical capability

• by bellfoundry and year of installation

The Website of the Carillon Society of Australia (CSA) is a primary source of information about the carillons in Australia and New Zealand.

There is not yet a national carillon society with responsibility for carillons in any of the other countries in the region of Asia and the Pacific Rim.
