Feedback to the database maintainer
Your feedback to the developer of this Website is
important.
We've put this Website together to meet the needs of those
who want information about
carillons and other tower bell instruments.
If we're not succeeding in that effort, or if there is something we could be doing better,
you are in the best position to tell us about it.
Every page on this Website has at the bottom a "mailto:" link which
is designed to provide an appropriate subject line for an email to send your comments
or suggestions related to that page.
If your browser and your e-mail aren't directly linked,
you can still use the e-mail address which will be visible to you in that link.
We will certainly consider
your comments and suggestions in our efforts to make this Website better.
If you have a comment or suggestion which isn't related directly to any
specific page, you can use
this link
to start composing your message.
But with respect to the site data pages, there is more need for feedback,
more opportunity for you to provide it, and a concrete way for us to
express to you our thanks for it.
- The need for feedback should become obvious to you by the time you have
browsed through several site data pages.
We don't have the resources to check out every site personally,
either to gather information or to verify that old information is still valid.
We do the best we can with what we have, but we need the help of others.
- The opportunity for you to provide really helpful feedback lies in our
survey forms.
These tell you exactly what we are looking for
in the way of information about carillons, chimes and bell towers.
If you have any of that information, those forms will help
you to organize it so that you can send us what we most need.
- If you can send us a significant amount of new information about any
site where either (a) you have personal knowledge or (b) you can document
the source of information, then we will express our thanks concretely.
We will do that by sending you a free database printout (as a PDF file)
for the geographic area in which that site lies.
(That area may be a state or province in North America, or part of one;
in some parts of the world it may be a complete country;
or it may be a rectangle bounded by latitude and longitude lines.)
This printout will also show you how the information which you provided
fits into the site database.
If you want to find out more about what this printout might look like,
see the hardcopy ordering information
but ignore all the stuff about placing an order or paying for it.
