   Mon 0745-0800 during school year;
   Sat & Sun 0930-1100 by students;
   quarterly recital; quarter tune at the
   hour (0800-2200) is now Cambridge
   (Westminster) but was originally a
   musical cipher at 10 minutes before the
   based on University motto, "Fiat Lux".

*Remarks:

   Installation by Justin Kramer, with
   four basses surrounding cabin;
   Belgian practice keyboard.
   Playing keyboard refinished in 1998-99
   after water damage.  New iron clappers 2010.
   New 4-octave practice keyboard,
   donated by M.Halsted in 2014, closely
   matches playing keyboard.

   Traditional carillon of 61 bells
   Pitch of heaviest bell is C  in the middle octave
   Keyboard range:     C C   /    C C 25
   Transposition is nil (concert pitch)
   There are no missing bass semitones
   There is an identical practice console
   The whole instrument was installed in 1969
     with bells made by Petit & Fritsen
