Gemert was an independent town before 1997; now it is part of Gemert-Bakel.  The Dutch Wikipedia article about the village has a photo of the Ridderplein, in which the gemeentehuis and its bell-filled cupola can be seen at right.  A photo of the gemeentehuis from a different perspective accompanies a paragraph about the building.
