Original contract was for 8 bells; 3 more added before installation in what is now the lower belfry; upper belfry added and bells relocated when donor could not hear them from home. Added semitones sharp 4th, flat 7th. Tenor formerly swung. Electrified in 1960s; re-electrified in 1990s, probably by Verdin; chimestand remains in tower, but transmission is gone. Church renamed upon merger which formed the United Methodist Church.
