The cathedral Website has no history, but two photos do show part of the bell tower.

The English Wikipedia article about the cathedral has photos of the buildings on the former college campus (including three views of the tower), and details the history of the cathedral.  But the chime is not mentioned, and how it might have been affected by the relocation of the Cathedral in 1929 is not yet known.
