*Schedule:

   Silent at last report.  Intended to
   pick up last note of the melody of the
   nearby automatic carillon (BERKEL - C),
   playing a special composition back &
   forth along the streets, ending with
   the strike of 12 o'clock by the hour
   bell of the N.H.Kerk in center of town.

*Remarks:

   Bells hung singly on light poles along
   the streets and walks named above;
   probably has multiple bells per note.
   The municipality of Lansingerland was
   formed 1 Jan 2007 from the merger of
   this town with two others.

*Technical data:

   Electric-automatic carillon of 53 bells
   Pitch of heaviest bell is unknown
   Transposition is not applicable
   Keyboard range:     NONE  /    NONE  
   The arrangement of tones and/or semitones
     is non-standard; see Remarks above.
   The instrument was enlarged in 2003
     with bells made by Eijsbouts    
   Prior history:
     In 1976, the instrument was begun with 23 bells
       by Eijsbouts   
       Pitch of heaviest bell was C  in the itty-bitty octave
       Transposition was not applicable
       Keyboard range was:     C C   /    NONE  
       There were two missing bass semitones
   No auxiliary mechanisms known
   Tower details not available
