Church is oldest in this town (1632), now part of Boston. Bells destroyed by fire, Jan.12,1957; church rebuilt within remaining walls. *Technical data: Chime-sized instrument or collection, no longer in existence (defunct), of 16 bells Pitch of heaviest bell is D in the middle octave Keyboard range: D A / ---- Transposition is nil (concert pitch) The arrangement of tones and/or semitones is non-standard; see Remarks above.
