*Remarks:

   Added semitones were sharp 4th and its
   octave, flat 7th; bass bell swung.
   Ordered by Maj.E.A.Burke;
   cost USD 6500; shipped 14 Nov 1884.  This chime
   won a gold medal at the Exposition;
   afterwards, 9 of the bells were sold to
   the Cathedral of the Immaculate Concep-
   tion, Saint John, New Brunswick.
   Disposition of the other 6 is unknown.

*Technical data:

   Chime-sized instrument or collection, no longer in existence (defunct), of 15 bells
   Pitch of heaviest bell is C  in the middle octave
   Keyboard range:     C G   /    ----  
   Transposition is nil (concert pitch)
   There are three added semitones
   The whole instrument was installed in 1884
     with bells made by McShane          
   Auxiliary mechanisms: W1
